4. Insurance and health-related information
Life insurance and related products involve personal information, and we treat it with care:
- Your scorecard answers are never shared with any insurance company and are never sold. They are used only to prepare your report and our conversation.
- Insurance applications: if you decide to apply for a product, the application will ask for information such as your date of birth, Social Security number, medical history, financial details and beneficiaries. That information is collected on or for the insurance company's application, is shared with the insurance company you choose and the service providers it uses for underwriting (for example, medical exam and records vendors, prescription and motor vehicle databases, and MIB), and only with your signed authorization. The insurance company's own privacy notice also applies.
- Agency and compliance: as a licensed agent, we may share application and policy information with the insurance marketing organization and agency through which we are contracted, and with regulators, where required for licensing, supervision, commission processing and compliance.
- We will never ask you to send sensitive information by text message, such as your Social Security number, bank details or medical history.
- We follow applicable insurance privacy laws, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the California Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act (Cal. Ins. Code § 791 et seq.) and the California Financial Information Privacy Act. You may ask to see and correct personal information we hold about you in connection with an insurance transaction.

- Sale and sharing: we do not sell personal information. If you accept advertising cookies, information about your use of this site may be "shared" with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising. - Sensitive information: we use health and financial information only to provide the services you ask for.
